Tourism Cares is thrilled to partner with the World Travel & Tourism Council to hold a half-day volunteer event where the industry’s most influential leaders give back to their host city of Buenos Aires. Tourism Cares with Buenos Aires will mark the fourth volunteer service program Tourism Cares has organised in conjunction with the WTTC Summit to engage delegates in giving back to their host community, providing an excellent opportunity for them to leave a lasting impact and in turn show the industry’s commitment to preservation and conservation.
Volunteers will work within The Buenos Aires Eco-park, a former historic zoo in the process of being transformed to an interactive eco-park. The park will focus on improvement of animals standards of living and a more educational and fulfilling experience for visitors that raises awareness of environmental issues both in Argentina and internationally.
Volunteers will help in the transformation of the site, planting native plant species and aiding in the restoration of historic statues and structures throughout the park.

Interested volunteers can sign-up during the Summit registration, accessible from the 'Manage My Registration' page.
There is no fee to volunteer, but donations are always very much appreciated and help Tourism Cares and our partners to operate these programs – ensuring enough tools and materials are available to complete the work projects laid out for us in the most efficient and effective way possible.
